Bubbl.us – online mind mapping

Bubbl.us is a web application that allows the user to create colourful online interactive mind maps on it’s site. Mind maps can be created, exported as pictures and printed without registration. If you do choose to register then you can save your mind maps, email them or share them with others as viewers or contributors, embed them into web pages and manage all your mind maps in one place.

Bubbl.us makes it really easy to make good looking and well structured mind maps. It works nicely with an interactive whiteboard with pop up options when you hover over each bubble. There is good context sensitive help on each area and a helpful to what will fit on a page to print.

Bubbl.us requires the flash player (which most web browsers have) and is completely free to use.  It is also advert free with just a small donation button in the bottom right corner. This makes it easier to use with students either as a class or for them independently as they won’t see any inappropriate ads.
